There are few examples better of what “looking past it” means than this home.
Here there were many attending issues including squatters, abandoned vehicles on the property and delayed maintenance.  However, the home backs up to an inner-city park (so they’ll never have a neighbor) it faces east so they get morning sun and it’s atop the crest of Capitol Hill.  It would be a nice walk downtown if you so desired.

We listed it for $550,000, it sold for $703,000, and it was sold again last year for $1,000,033.
