It’s true. The Eastside of the County is exploding – especially as the light rail nears completion. Bellevue / Kirkland / Issaquah share a few things in common not the least of which are highly rated school districts, easy freeway access and suburbs with full-service opportunities. Add to this the fact that Amazon will be relocating a good deal of their business there, and active and seemingly clear-headed business friendly City Council and the absence of many of the inner-city issues Seattle proper seems to have and you’ll understand the high demand for real estate. That said, if you work in Seattle you’ll have to be prepared for what can be a disappointing commute for the foreseeable future.
I found this home after working with clients after many many months. An estate sale it was in great condition, needed a little work but it turned out to be quite a find. Sold for $775,000 see what it’s estimated value is today.
